this blog is one month old. for years, when questions about the future came up, i would tell people i wanted to eventually write about food. the tiny issue was that i never actually wrote. then last month i thought, "i should start a blog today." apparently eventually had arrived. i love to cook and i love to share food. even more, i love to share a recipe so you can experience the same pleasure in the kitchen and at the table. i get giddy when i hear a recipe turned out well for you. i know this blog can be a little challenging to navigate when you are looking for something in particular. i am working on an index for recipes...i hope that helps. for the time being, a list of the recipes i've shared so far follows.
i spent the better part of yesterday turning that big bowl of produce into a lot of salsa. i woke up this morning to the smell of tacos and shortly realized the taco smell was me. in the midst of all the chopping, i interviewed someone for a surprise post on monday. you will never look at figs or blueberry gushers in the same way. in the meantime, here are some things to cook. happy saturday.
